St. Louis, MO – August 22, 2025 – LaDonnaSmith, known as CON’TOUR, has officially released her powerful new single “Black Girls Are Pretty.” More than just a song, it’s a cultural statement designed to uplift, celebrate, and unapologetically affirm the beauty of Black women everywhere.
With lyrics like “Black girls are pretty, don’t let ‘em forget it” and “Every shade, every shape, every city…”, the track embraces inclusivity and challenges society’s narrow beauty standards.
CON’TOUR’s message is clear: Black women’s beauty is not conditional—it’s divine.
THE STORY BEHIND
THIS ISN’T JUST MUSIC…”
This album became a healing space. A way to take the chapters of pain and rewrite them into songs of power. When I said “This Isn’t Just Music”, I meant it — this is survival turned into art, heartbreak turned into a blueprint of strength.
Every lyric I wrote came from real experiences — the sleepless nights, the tears, the questions of “why me?” But the deeper I wrote, the more I realized this wasn’t just about me. It was about every woman who has ever been betrayed, silenced, or broken down and told to play small.
FEELIN’ FEARLESS
In October 2024, I lost my marriage to betrayal and deception. What could have broken me became the fire that built me. Out of that pain came This Isn’t Just Music — an album that transforms heartbreak into power, silence into sound, and scars into strength.
This project isn’t just for me. It’s for every woman who has had to start over, every woman who has been told she wasn’t enough, and every woman ready to rise again.
Because this isn’t just music.
It’s a fearless declaration.
It’s empowerment in every note.
